Promoting Talent in a Special Discipline
Equestrian stands more than any other sport for precision and partnership – values that are also important in our daily business. That’s why the Deutsche Bank Equestrian Sport Academy promotes up-and-coming exceptional dressage talents. The goal is to ensure that Germany’s young dressage riders continue to make the Olympics and embark on successful professional careers. The Deutsche Bank Equestrian Sport Academy is a further element of the over sixty-year partnership between Deutsche Bank and equestrian sport in Germany.
Deutsche Bank has supported aspiring talents each year since 2016. The scholarship holders are named by the German equestrian sport trainer and receive:
- individual training units
- access to selected tournaments in Germany and England
- advice from Deutsche Bank mentors in cooperation with the German Sports Aid Foundation (for riders who are still in training or studying)

“With the Deutsche Bank Equestrian Sport Academy we can promote our up-and-coming dressage talents sustainably and individually. Some gather tournament experience for the first time on a major tour, while others receive targeted training or mentoring. These promotion possibilities are important for maintaining our success in dressage riding.”
