Deutsche Bank was ranked among the top volume performers in the Securities Lending and Borrowing (SLB) segment by the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), for the fifth consecutive year. At the same award ceremony held during the auspicious Muharat trading on Diwali day, the bank was also recognised as one of the top five performers in the Initial Public Offering (IPO) Segment for the Custodian category.

Deutsche Bank is India’s leading custodian offering execution services in lending of securities in the SLB segment. The Securities Services business’ market leading SLB Plus product offering, which allows the bank to facilitate lending of equity shares held by clients in the SLB market, comes with several enhanced features which include flexibility in accepting customised mandates from clients. The business has an extensive and diversified client portfolio with about 20 clients across domestic and foreign asset managers, which also supports in executing any recall requests from clients.

Janak Dalal, Head of Securities Services India says, “Our consistent performance over the years and the trust of our clients positions us as a reliable lender within the market. This in turn has aided in enhancing the liquidity and reach of the SLB market in India, which is substantiated by the volume of stocks that we lend out every month. Congratulations to the team!”
