Recent studies on youth and education reveal that many students lack basic financial education. However, young people demonstrate a strong interest in money-related-topics, as highlighted by the latest “SCHUFA Jugend-Finanzmonitor”. According to the survey, 93% of respondents want comprehensive education on money and finance in schools, while 82% desire more practical information on financial topics for everyday life.

The project

What can I actually afford, and what is beyond my means? How do I learn to manage my money responsibly and avoid falling into debt? These are questions many young people grapple with. This is where the project “So geht Geld” comes in and supports young people in acquiring financial skills and better understanding economic relationships.
