Deutsche Bank today announced that it has received one of the highest industry accolades in Asia, being named 'Bank of the Year' 2007 by International Financing Review Asia (IFR Asia). This is the second time in three years that Deutsche Bank Asia Pacific has been awarded IFR Asia's 'Bank of the Year' in its annual review, having won the award in 2005.

• Deutsche Bank ranked first in German magazine Börse Online's bank test. From mid-September until beginning of November, Börse Online tested investment advice 25 times in 11 banks. Beside Deutsche Bank, branches of other banks present nationwide as well as regional mutual savings banks were tested in Frankfurt, Kassel, Munich and Berlin.

Deutsche Bank has topped a league table of European investment banking revenues for the first half of 2007 compiled by Financial News. Using Dealogic data, Financial News places Deutsche Bank at number one for the second successive first half with revenues totaling USD 900m across Debt Capital Markets (DCM), Equity Capital Markets (ECM) and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A).

Deutsche Bank tops two of the three categories: Debt Capital Market (DCM) and Equity Capital Market (ECM).

The publication said Deutsche Bank "remains the powerhouse in Europe".
